Why I started this

Every winter, houses on the east side sit empty for months while their owners are somewhere warmer. Every spring, some of them come home to a ceiling on the floor because a pipe froze in January and nobody knew. A neighbor with a key is not a plan. A plan is a schedule, a checklist, and a record.

I also know what it means to hand someone a key to your house. For most of my working life, people trusted me in their worst moments. That is not something I take lightly, and it is why the company has the name it does.

How I work

• Same person, every visit

  You will not get a rotating cast. If the business grows, the only people I will ever hire are retired or serving law enforcement, background checked, and you will know them by name first.

• Same checklist, every visit

  Fifty three items in the same order, so nothing gets skipped because it was cold or dark or the last house ran long.

• A phone call before a form

  If I find something that matters, I call you that day. The report follows. You will never learn about a problem by reading it.

• Your codes stay yours

  Alarm codes and key locations are stored encrypted and only appear on my phone during a visit. They are never in a report or an email.

Metro Detroit and the Grosse Pointes: Grosse Pointe Park, City, Farms, Woods, and Shores, St. Clair Shores, Harper Woods, and the surrounding east side. A bit further out for the right house. Ask.
